We have a new vacancy for an enthusiastic image analysis/machine learning Scientist in our AI Research Team at our R&D centre of excellence in Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity to work in an intellectually stimulating environment, with exposure to leading edge technology within the medical imaging industry. We strive to create technology that makes a meaningful difference to people’s lives, helping doctors to help restore their patients’ health and well-being.

 

You will have demonstrated a passion for applying machine learning to real world imaging problems. Experience working with medical imaging is a significant advantage. You will have an advanced degree (e.g. PhD or EngD) or have demonstrated equivalent relevant industrial experience. Python development experience and familiarity with  good software engineering practice are highly desirable. You enjoy exploring the latest research findings, and getting to put promising fresh ideas into practice. You are constantly curious, have strong communication skills, and enjoy finding novel practical solutions to problems. Publication and patenting are actively encouraged. Depending on experience you may have the opportunity to supervise doctorate and masters students.
