The Role

We are looking to recruit a highly organised and focussed individual for the role of Business Development Senior Supply Officer within our International Sales Department.


What will you be doing?

  • To promote and expand sales of Morningside products to existing and new customers;
  • Identify new leads, making contacts following up responses on a regular basis, promoting Morningside product range;
  • Seeking opportunities for business development worldwide;
  • Identify country where fast track registration is available;
  • Work closely with Regulatory Affairs team to facilitate good communication for registration process;
  • Work closely with International Sales Operational Team;
  • Responsible for heading up expansion into new markets, as well as continued expansion with existing customers;
  • Developing and maintaining records of all customers and territory information;
  • Creating, negotiating and closing commercial agreements;
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs and continue looking for new opportunities;
  • Participate in company projects and developing business strategies allowing for the business to grow and develop in the right direction;
  • Preparing and Monitoring KPI’s for New Business;
  • Preparing and handling reports maintaining visibility of your activities through accurately tracking customer interactions and proper reporting to help improve the company's overall success in sales;
  • Preparing business cases for defined potential new customers and present it to the internal stakeholders;
  • Helping the Manager with gathering the data for preparing the International Sales Management reports, Powerpoint presentations and Contracts preparation;
  • Providing guidance and training to other members of staff, where appropriate and needed.

The Person

  • You will have great business development skills and have shown this by having recent experience in international sales and good negotiation skills;
  • Excellent communicator, in person and over the phone;
  • Ability to work within a fast paced environment and adapt quickly;
  • You must be able to develop proposal and be able to communicate these effectively to clients;
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft, Excel and Power Point;
  • Prompt and accurate reporting to the International Sales Manager and Executive Team as require;
  • It is essential that you are organised, driven and have the ability to develop strong relationships with customers;
  • You will need to be able to work to tight deadlines with good attention to detail.
