PPL are embarking on a large scale transformation programme, to enhance the business and technology processes and systems which support the services we provide to our record company and performer members.
As part of REMIX, we have planned a work stream that will establish a formal Data Governance structure at PPL, to ensure that the needs of ‘data stakeholders’ across the business are recognised and protected during system and process changes, and to identify and manage the data improvement initiatives that are required for successful transformation and improved operations.
What you’ll be doing…
You will provide analysis, design, build, administration, monitoring & support of AWS services to be used by the Remix programme during all phases of the project and ultimately to production. This is to be done using appropriate best practices to ensure that a culture of DevOps is adopted with regards to maintainability, automation and efficiency.
This role is to support concurrent agile projects in a large transformational programme using the skills mentioned above.
What you’ll need…
As the ideal candidate for our DevOps/AWS Engineer you will be a champion of AWS, cloud technologies, DevOps, configuration management, automation and versioning. This role will suit someone with Agile delivery experience with a DevOps mentality
The successful candidate will have….
5 year’s minimum experience as a system administrator with either windows or Linux
2 year's + cloud/AWS experience is essential
Good Cloudformation skills
Standard EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, SQS, auto-scaling, VPC/security group network knowledge
