What you’ll be doing…

This role will take full ownership in all matters relating to Compensation and Benefits. You’ll be reviewing the current Compensation and Benefits packages that are available to PPL employees along with all the processes that are in place.  Having completed the reviews you’ll have the ability to put in place new streamlined packages that PPL employees will benefit from and as a result feel rewarded and appreciate the benefits received as a result of working at PPL.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following;

  • Line Management of the team administrator, overseeing and managing the payroll monthly.
  • Development and implementation of the reward strategy, including; salary benchmarking, pensions, benefits management and bonus and salary reviews.
  • Taking the lead on job evaluations, defining clear career structures.
  • Act as the expert in all Compensation and Benefit matters.
  • Ownership of the benefits platform
  • Manage the employee recognition schemes within PPL
  • Providing MI to heads of as and when necessary
  • Champion PPL’s Rewards and Benefits, being the ‘go to’ person, effectively responding to PPL’s employee queries

What you’ll need…

You’ll have 5-7 years’ experience within Compensation, Benefits and Rewards role, along with experience of managing payroll and managing employees focussing on their development. You’ll be capable of stepping up to responsibility and provide excellent support to the business, with previous experience in analysing and improving current benefit packages.
