PPL are embarking on a large scale transformation programme to build upon and enhance the IT systems which support the services we provide to our record company and performer members.

The key objective of the change team is to ensure that PPL is equipped to transform, that our processes are optimised and that our people are engaged, competent and confident to work in the new ways, creating the foundation for a sustainable future.

What you’ll be doing…

You will, as a Senior API Engineer, participate in product teams and drive the development of the solutions, ensuring it conforms to the microservices architecture principles. You will, like the rest of us here, write exquisite code, which is easy to read and easy to maintain. You will need the ability to pick up new Frameworks and technologies and have exposure on building microservices architecture

You will be working on a programme that will TRANSFORM the music industry right management, if that’s not convincing enough I don’t know what is. You will be at the very forefront of this industry.

What you’ll need…

  • 8 years or more in continuous hands-on experience in Java as an Engineer (Problem solving, Unit testing, CI)
  • A degree in Software Engineering or similar
  • Excellent problem solving skills using Java 8
  • Excellent knowledge of Spring framework (Spring Security, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud)
  • Ability to understand existing codebases
  • Exposure to AWS development (API Gateway)
  • Exposure to Elastic frameworks (Search, Kibana, Logstash)
  • Have knowledge of Relational Databases (Postgres, MySQL, Oracle)
