What you’ll be doing…

To create the best working environment for our employees ensuring the smooth running of the Office and the building.  To lead the Facilities team in a positive and encouraging way, in providing a variety of services to the business and ensure the department meets budget targets and delivers exceptional service to the business and the stakeholders within. To ensure that the department is compliant in all matters of Health and Safety, M+E/HVAC and COSHH. You will be reporting to the Director of People and Organisational Development. You will manage 1 direct report and 2 indirect reports within the Facilities team.

What you’ll need…

Key requirements:

  • To provide efficient and effective site services by negotiating contracts for the Facilities Department and ensuring that they meet standards and are cost effective
  • To manage the Facilities Helpdesk and to co-ordinate and ensure that the department delivers facilities services in an effective and efficient manner
  • To manage the workflow and performance of the team ensuring that service standards, targets and quality are achieved
  • To manage all Health and Safety processes and procedures for the company, ensuring safe working conditions which meet all statutory requirements
  • BIFM Facilities Management trained or equivalent
  • Excellent organisational skills are required and the ability to plan your time effectively to ensure maximum results
  • Budget Management experience
  • A proven track record in managing people ideally within a Facilities function
  • Experience of working in a customer focused environment to ensure the requirements of internal customers are met.
