What you’ll be doing…

The role will help design, develop and support PPL’s data processing and management systems, from data repertoire and distribution solution to data handling applications (Informatica) and solution data modelling, working alongside the other developers to enhance and improve the current set of systems, ensuring that the user experience for both internal and external users is as seamless as possible and all PPL brand standards are consistently applied.

What you’ll need…

  • 3 year’s minimum experience designing solutions involving Master Data Management, systems integration interfaces and ETL processes using Informatica to manipulate and transform large volumes of data.
  • Experience of working on at least one data processing oriented development project through the full SDLC.
  • Ability to interpret written requirements and technical specification documents.
  • Informatica Powercenter 10.1 Realtime & B2B, Linux/Unix shell scripting (RHEL 6+ preferred)
  • Flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and resilient
