What you’ll be doing…

You will help lead how we use AWS to meet business goals, this will include either traditional AWS architecture or serverless and services where appropriate. AWS knowledge should not just be theoretical and should be based on experience with the platform in a similar design pattern to us based on APIs and micro-services. You will also provide DevOps services such as continuous integration, deployment and automated environment builds with configuration management to enable PPL to build new systems and ensure the software development lifecycle runs as efficient as possible.

What you’ll need…

  • 2-3 year’s experience with AWS processes and technologies along with 2-3 years working in DevOps
  • 5 year’s minimum experience as a Developer/Sys Admin
  • The writing of structured, easily maintainable scripts & code with appropriate source control
  • Use of and interest in open-source products
  • Desire to work in an agile development environment with a DevOps mentality
  • Flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and resilient
