University College is seeking an experienced, proactive and efficient PA to provide high-level administrative support to the Finance & Investment Bursar.  The post-holder will be the first point of contact for enquirers of the Bursary and will engage at all levels within the College, University and wider community.

The role is varied and demands adaptability across a wide range of tasks.  You will be confident in working in an independent and self-managed capacity handling a workload frequently with tight deadlines, for which sound assessment and prioritisation is required before determining the best course of action.

The ideal candidate will have considerable experience in a PA role at a senior executive level, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.  You will have excellent administrative and organisational skills, the ability to multi-task, filter information, assess priorities and work to tight deadlines.  Demonstrable skills in the exercise of judgement, tact and diplomacy are essential.

In addition, the highest degree of discretion is expected at all times as you will have access to confidential information and documentation, and to sensitive personal information about staff, donors, alumni and other members of the College.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office and diary management is needed.

In return, we offer a generous holiday allowance (38 days), pension, private healthcare and free meals amongst other benefits.

The deadline for applications is 12 noon on 20 February 2025.

As part of our commitment to ensuring a fair and transparent recruitment , we kindly ask applicants to complete the Recruitment Monitoring Form here.
