University College Oxford is seeking to appoint an experienced payroll specialist to manage all aspects of the College’s payroll including pensions and HMRC processing. The College monthly payroll consists of approximately 230 staff along with two other payrolls, one for casual workers and the other for external tuition.

The post-holder will work closely with the College Accountant, Financial Controller and Human Resources team.  You will be expected to build strong working relationships across all departments, particularly with operational leads, to ensure the efficient and effective management of the payroll and associated administration.

The ideal candidate will have a track record of payroll operations; excellent organisational, inter-personal and communication skills.  The ability to multi-task, determine priorities and work to tight deadlines in a busy and demanding environment are essential.  You will be IT proficient, accurate and numerate.

This post is offered full-time, 36.5 hours per week, however part-time will also be considered for the appropriate candidate.  We offer a generous holiday allowance (30 days), private health insurance, OSPS pension and free lunches amongst other benefits.
