We’re looking for a Creative Designer/Artworker to join our Agency creative team to design and execute campaign work for a successful financial brand. You’ll be part of a multi-disciplinary team and with at least 18 months agency experience under your belt, you’ll will be capable of delivering great design concepts and seeing them through to final execution. You’ll have experience of the technical aspects too as duties will also be to support the artwork team covering the quick day-to-day tasks, so a good eye for detail and ability to follow instruction is vital. Some digital design/ux experience would be advantageous.

The role is hybrid, working from home and from the client office where our team is based. Ease of travel to Reigate should be a consideration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute smart design solutions to client’s business problems.
  • Effectively communicate conceptual ideas and design rationale verbally and visually to both internal and client stakeholders.
  • Provide daily support to the artwork team in processing the basic requirements of the account.
  • Take a brand guardianship attitude to the delivery of projects, ensuring brand consistency.
  • Projects will range in size and complexity, from print and POS to email templates, banners, web design, and social media.

Essential Requirements

  • A portfolio of beautiful examples containing both digital and print design.
  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite should be reflected in your portfolio, After Effects knowledge is a bonus.
  • A solid understanding of digital and print output is essential in order to take your designs to a final conclusion as well as support the artwork team.
  • A self-starter who works proactively to create engaging campaigns, who also has the confidence to engage directly with our client directly.
  • Campaigns should successfully answer the brief as well as bringing new ideas to the table.
  • The ability to see campaigns through from inception to artwork production, hence an excellent eye for detail is essential.
  • Have a positive and resilient attitude, calm when confronted with deadlines and challenges and be willing to take onboard feedback and use to it to improve.
  • A team player who loves to work collaboratively, but is able to be rely on their own creativity is necessary for home working.
  • A willingness to work in PowerPoint would be a distinct advantage, as would an understanding of basic UX/UI design.
