Senior Creative Designer
APS Group are searching for a highly experienced mid to senior level Creative Designer to join their expanding Retail & Customer Experiences team.
We are an evolving retail agency within a larger parent organisation. We are currently a small team that is expanding quickly. We work with a variety of extremely well-known brands and retail clients. The role is an opportunity to expand our creative capabilities at first, but in time, become the creative lead and develop the role and a large creative team.
The successful candidate will have 8+ years' experience working specifically in retail and point of sale. They will be extremely proficient using Autodesk 3DS Max and all 2D Adobe products, with experience using Cinema 4d and SolidWorks being an advantage. The role will involve working alone, directing freelancers or heading a small team to work on creative concepts, blue sky ideas and rendered design decks for all aspects of retail design, from simple 'point of sale' (semi-permanent and permanent) items such as CTUs and FSDUs right up to large format such as shop-in-shops, concessions, full store designs and retail environments. They must be comfortable with the design process, researching ideas and taking a design from nothing but a loose brief to a fully rendered set of concepts, presented clearly and explained within a design deck.
The role will involve meetings and presenting to both internal stakeholders and clients, so the right candidate will be comfortable and experienced explaining their approach and creative solutions to others.
The role is primarily home based; however, the successful candidate will be expected to travel to the central Stockport office a few times a month, client visits when needed and possibly design team meetings in the Birmingham area.
