Training Ground Receptionist

Roles and responsibilities

1. To provide exceptional levels of customer service.

2. To be a welcoming point of contact at the training ground for all visitors and guests.

3. To meet and greet visitors and administer sign-in procedures as appropriate.

4. To deal with general enquiries from visitors and customers.

5. To undertake administration duties in connection with the role.

6. To receive deliveries.

7. To ensure the reception area is kept tidy and presentable at all times.

8. To comply with Club regulations and procedures.

9. To support and practice the Club’s Customer Charter.

10. To follow the Club’s safety policy.

11. To undertake such other duties appropriate to the level and character of work as may reasonably be required. 

 

General duties and accountabilities

  • To support Brighton & Hove Albion FC and AITC in their aims and objectives at all times.
  • To ensure compliance with all relevant club policies, including health and safety policies.
  • To ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, ethical and social requirements.
  • To keep confidential any information gained regarding the charity, club and its personnel.
  • To represent Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club and AITC in a professional manner.
  • To maintain a flexible approach to work at all times.
  • To undertake other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

  • No formal qualifications required
  • Experience of working in a customer service environment
  • The ability to deliver exceptional customer service
  • A friendly and professional telephone manner
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Accurate data entry skills
  • High level of numeracy and literacy
  • Microsoft office skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Warm, friendly, helpful and cheerful persona
  • Flexible approach to working hours
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • A genuine team player

Desirable

  • Experience of working as a receptionist
  • An interest in football
