Apprentice Administration Assistant - Supporter Services

Roles and responsibilities

1. To support the department by providing administrative support focussed on despatch of the following products: Tickets, tours, travel, vouchers, membership, club communications, birthday cards, etc.

2. To deal with general enquiries from customers relating to product fulfilment by phone/email and in person.

3. To assist with outcalling to supporters where required, to qualify and/or follow up on leads for ticket sales.

4. To ensure customer information is correctly captured and updated on the ticketing system.

5. To carry out general administration relating to commercial product sales.

6. To assist with research and marketing activities.

7. To seek creative opportunities to improve department efficiency and save costs.

8. Any other duties as needed within reason.
 

General duties and accountabilities

  • To support Brighton & Hove Albion FC and AITC in their aims and objectives at all times.
  • To ensure compliance with all relevant club policies, including health and safety policies.
  • To ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, ethical and social requirements.
  • To keep confidential any information gained regarding the charity, club and its personnel.
  • To represent Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club and AITC in a professional manner.
  • To maintain a flexible approach to work at all times.
  • To undertake other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

  • Strong administration skills to include excellent communication skills
  • Accurate data entry skills
  • Competent level of numeracy and literacy
  • Microsoft office skills – Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Warm, friendly, helpful and cheerful persona
  • Organised with meticulous attention to detail

Desirable

  • GCSE level English/Mathematics
  • Experience of using a computer ticket booking system or similar
  • Experience of working in a customer service environment
  • Cash handling experience
  • Experience of working in administration
  • An interest in football
