Duties & Responsibilities:
Reporting Directly to the Head of Performance & Aircraft Transitions, the Transition Specialist shall
- Report on Contracted Maintenance on Delivery/Redelivery of aircraft to/from the Fleet.
- Coordinate with Delivery/Redelivery Teams to ensure on time compliance with delivery/redelivery schedules.
- Planning and development of projects
- Represent the CAMO with aircraft Lessor in terms of technical aspects of delivery/redelivery of aircraft.
- Review and Validate Aircraft Delivery/Redelivery Documentation on behalf of the CAMO and in coordination with the aircraft Lessor and Delivery Teams
- Notify General Manager Contracted Maintenance of any items of concern with the potential to affect either the delivery schedule or compliance with CAMO obligations or commercial terms of the contract
- Coordinate regular meetings with all stakeholders on the Delivery/Redelivery progress.
- Provide technical reports and statuses in support of the Delivery/Redelivery project.
- Coordinate with Head of Performance & Aircraft Transitions on Technical Projects within the CAMO.
- To undertake technical related projects as requested and covered within the realms of the CAMO.
- Provide focal point in coordination with Head of Performance & Aircraft Transitions for Lean improvements within the CAMO.
- Assisting in the integration of aircraft into the fleet.
- Some travel will be required.
- Other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Head of Performance & Aircraft Transitions
Qualification / Competency requirements:
- Engineering degree in Aeronautical or associated discipline or holding an EASA Part 66 License with an aircraft type rating.
- Knowledge of EASA regulatory structure and environment
- Professional attitude.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong IT skills in both office based and aircraft management software.
- Attention to detail essential and time management skills
- Ability to work individually and in a team and under own initiative.
- Ability to work under pressure and provide accurate work in a rapidly changing environment.
- Previous experience working in an airline continuing airworthiness or maintenance environment advantageous.
