What’s the Job?

We are looking to recruit an Account Manager to join our UK salon sales team to effectively manage and grow sales of ghd to hair salons within the South region. This role will cover the Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire areas.

You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships for both new and existing clients, introducing new lines and ensuring sales from existing ranges are optimised. In addition, you will be responsible for prospecting new salons within your assigned territory.

What will I do?

  • Responsible for achieving set revenues and all other defined KPIs within the territory
  • Develop sales through an existing client base, whilst also highlighting, targeting, and converting new potential clients
  • Analyse the areas potential, track sales and report accordingly
  • Identify and developing market insight to source new partners
  • Present, promote and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers
  • Identify opportunities to up-sell and link-sell in order to develop the territory
  • Support clients with the implementation of key promotional and marketing activity to generate sales growth and meet brand objectives
  • Build a trusted advisor relationship with your salons and add value to their business by educating them in how to sell our product via methods such as retailing and social media
  • Partner with the ghd education team to ensure all salons are supported by ghd education programmes
  • Manage diary and journey plan effectively to ensure maximum productivity
  • Respond quickly and effectively to clients’ requests
  • Support client with appropriate budget and payment solutions
  • Develop internal network and relationships to support key activity
  • Attendance and participation in team and sales meetings
  • Collaborate effectively and enthusiastically within the regional team

 

 

What skills and qualities will I need?

  • Proven account management or other relevant experience.
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Entrepreneurial and results orientated mindset
  • Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to drive and influence both internal stakeholders and external business partners
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • A high level of verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to work under pressure within deadlines with excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • A self-starter who is adaptable to change
  • Desire to continuously learn and develop
  • Enthusiastic and hands-on style, self-reliant, with the ability to work autonomously – willing to take on-board more responsibilities along the way
  • Demonstrates passion for the ghd brand and products

 

Role Requirements

 

  • Based in the defined territory
  • Computer literate with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint
