What’s the Job?

The Talent Acquisition Resourcer will support the Talent Acquisition Manager in developing a competent and consistent recruitment function that secures the best talent. This role will support the end to end recruitment process supporting Line Managers, identifying current and future hiring needs, advertising job openings and screening potential candidates. The role will help build a strong employer brand and ensure that ghd provides a positive candidate experience.
 

What will I do?

  • Support Talent Acquisition Manager in developing effective recruitment strategies to attract the best candidates to meet the business’ needs
  • Responsible for supporting Department Heads, Hiring Managers and candidates through the recruitment process from job evaluation to posting, to first contact through to final appointment
  • Proactive in approach to sourcing talent utilising referrals, online methods, social networks etc
  • Supporting in developing appropriate tools and processes to support recruitment best practice
  • Working to achieve set KPIs; time to fill, cost per hire, vacancy retention
  • Coaching and developing line managers to become competent with the process
  • Developing relationships with external agencies and other recruitment providers
  • Support to develop the Employer Value Proposition both internally and externally
  • Monitor efficiencies to enable reduction of costs within the recruitment process
  • Monitor the labour legislation and support in implementing required changes in order to keep the process compliant
  • Communicating regularly with candidates and key stakeholders
  • Carrying out any other reasonable ad hoc duties in order to support the People Team

 

What skills and qualities will I need?

  • Ideally Part (final year) or fully CIPD qualified preferred
  • Proven experience as an Internal Recruiter or similar role
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability and confidence to work in a fast paced organisation
  • Proactive approach to problem solving with a can do attitude
  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels and influence where necessary
  • Confident in using MS applications including Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Relevant Employment law knowledge
  • Understanding of the importance of employer branding
  • A commitment to providing great customer service
  • Experience working effectively in a team with a hands on approach
  • Passion for the brand
