What’s the Job?

In this role you will be the first point of contact for general HR administration queries providing administrative support to the People Team.

You will have the opportunity to undertake project wok including a full review of current processes and implement best practice. Experience within HR and exposure to HR processes would be advantageous.

This is a a full time permanent role.


What will I do?

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Undertaking administrative activity in support of core HR policies and processes e.g. recruitment, training, employee changes and benefits etc.
  • Creating new starter packs ensuring new starters details and key information is loaded onto Cascade and all relevant benefit documentation has been completed and uploaded accordingly
  • Production of letters, contracts, change of terms and conditions communication
  • Managing the  People inbox ensuring a timely response in line with the SLA
  • Production of management information for both internal and external purposes eg absence trigger point levels, statutory data; establishment figures; organisational structures etc.
  • Perform on-going audits to ensure the integrity of information
  • Assist the People team with the ad hoc administration as required



What skills and qualities will I need?

  • Experience working within an administrative role
  • CIPD qualified or a desire to work towards this
  • Excellent administration and organisation skills, efficient and well-organised
  • Confident communicator and a good listener with professionalism, discretion and sensitivity
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Has the ability to work within a team and on an individual basis
  • Confident in using MS applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
