What’s the Job?

In this role you will be a field support for the salon sales team in order to manage and grow sales. You will be responsible for maintaining and developing relationships with assigned salons and connecting with key business partners. 

You will liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs. This role will partner with and ensure the long-term success of our customer base.

As a Field Support you will cover absent Account Managers and will be expected to be fully flexible and mobile.

What will I do?

 

  • To develop and achieve sales targets set out for the area by the business, including sales and distribution and winning new business
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Quickly build maintain strong, customer and internal relationships
  • Identify and grow opportunities within territory and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth attainment
  • Implement promotional and marketing material
  • Partner with the ghd education team to ensure all salons are supported by ghd education programmes
  • Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal stakeholders
  • Continual development of personal knowledge of products available
  • Attendance and participation in team and sales meetings to support in developing business acumen
  • Collaborates effectively and enthusiastically within the regional teams


 

What skills and qualities will I need?

  • Ideally background in Salon, Retail or Beauty sales preferable
  • Previous field sales experience not essential as training will be given
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Proven ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to drive and influence both internal stakeholders and external business partners
  • A high level of verbal and written communications skills
  • Computer literate with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint
  • Full driving licence
  • Flexible to support and cover for colleagues in other territories at short notice
  • Flexible to travel nationwide with overnight stays
  • Enthusiastic and hands-on style, self-reliant – willing to take on-board more responsibilities along the way
  • Confident, articulate individual, who builds relationships easily
  • Ability to be equally effective within a team or working alone building a strong, collaborative working environment
  • Inquisitive mind and proactive nature
  • Ability to work under pressure within deadlines
