We are recruiting for a bright and enthusiastic Finance Analyst to work in our FP&A team.

In this newly created role, you will provide analysis and insight, supporting our managers to make smart commercial decisions.  Working as part of our small FP&A team, you have the potential to significantly impact the business.  You will have direct access to colleagues at all levels of the organisation, and you will embrace the opportunity to add value in this role that offers significant breadth and opportunity for development.

What will I do?
 

  • Business partner our Research & Development team (based in Cambridge), helping them to track project spend and most significantly, build the financials to support the development of new/enhanced products, to ensure the business invests wisely
  • Business partner departments within our global Marketing team (based in London), providing insightful analysis, communicating findings clearly and supporting the team to ensure funds are deployed most effectively
  • Build budgets and forecasts
  • Produce month end accounts and reports
  • Establish reporting on capital expenditure for Group ghd
  • Provide training and support to Group functions on our purchase order system Ariba
  • Work on ad hoc projects to support the growth of the business

 

What skills and qualities will I need?

  • CIMA/ACCA finalist/newly qualified
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely
  • Able to prioritise effectively, balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders
  • Sound commercial acumen
  • Excellent Microsoft office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • SAP experience preferred
