We use your data to administer your application for an
employment position with Help for Heroes
We only hold your ‘personal’ data when you provide it to us in your
application. Your data is added to a secure filing system that is
accessed only by relevant Help for Heroes staff.
We never sell, rent or share your details with other
organisations.
We will retain anonymised data for statistical analysis for
the sole aim of developing and improving our recruitment practices and processes.
Our legal basis for processing
your data:
Under law, we process your data as is necessary for the
potential performance of an employment contract. We determine that in you
providing your personal data to us you do so with the understanding that we
will process your data only to support and administer your application.
Who your data may be
transferred to:
Your personal data will never be transferred to another
organisation without your explicit consent.
How long your data
will be kept:
Your data will be kept within a secure filing system for 6
months following the fulfilment of the post for which you applied after which
it will be securely destroyed.
How you are in
control:
You are in control of the data we hold about you and at any
time you can request:

In all cases your request will be fulfilled unless there is
a legal reason not to do so which will be explained to you at the time of your
