On completion of your apprenticeship you will have achieved a level 3 NVQ in refrigeration and air conditioning.

apprentices have gone on to enjoy long and rewarding careers with the Company.

Our annual intake of apprentices normally takes place in September and we would be seeking  applications from March.


     You will need a minimum of 5 GCSE’s grade A to C in the  following subjects:

       Mathematics                              ICT

       English                                      Science

       And one other


       A strong interest in engineering

       Ability to follow instructions and work to deadlines

       Good communication skills

       Manual dexterity

       Ability to work on own initiative

       Team player

       Good time keeping and attendance

       Project a professional attitude

       Good conduct



  You will complete a variety of extensive log book/reports

  You will be required to obtain a full driving licence by year 3 of your apprenticeship

  Sometimes you will work in confined spaces

  May be asked to work away which will involve overnight stays

  May be working outside in adverse weather conditions

  On occasions you will work at height

  Some early starts and late finishes

  Weekend work

  You will be on a call-out rota

  You will work with heavy machinery

  You will be required to stay away from home whilst on block release

  Mandatory in-house off the job training

  Attend all block release studies, 3-4 blocks per year
