Kymab is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing a deep pipeline of novel antibody-based therapies in a broad range of indications. The Company generates its product candidates using its proprietary, integrated platforms collectively called IntelliSelect®. Kymab’s platforms have been designed to maximize the diversity of human antibodies produced in response to immunization with antigens. Selecting from a broad diversity of fully human antibodies allows for the identification of antibodies with optimal drug-like properties.

We are looking to recruit a full-time Purchase Ledger Supervisor to join our finance team, which comprises of the CFO, Group Financial Controller, Management Accountant, Financial Accountant, Accounts Assistant and a Purchase Ledger Clerk.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervision of the team’s Purchase Ledger Clerk

  • Entering Purchase invoices onto Sage & Amici (Lab supplies procurement)

  • Entering Company Credit Card expenses onto Sage

  • Ensuring the correct coding & sign off of all invoices for payments

  • Paying both UK & foreign supplier invoices

  • Bank reconciliations in conjunction with the Accounts Assistant

  • Preparing supplier related accruals at each month end

  • Analysing costs as required

  • Ad-hoc duties as & when required

Requirements

  • Ideally educated to A-Level standard or equivalent

  • AAT qualification or similar would be highly desirable

  • Previous experience of working in a similar role

  • Previous experience of and a good working level of competency with Microsoft Excel

  • Previous experience using Sage or Amici is preferred, but training can be provided for both

  • Organised, enthusiastic with a high level of attention to detail

  • A team player, with the ability to work autonomously
