Kymab is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing a deep pipeline of novel antibody-based therapies in a broad range of indications. The Company generates its product candidates using its proprietary, integrated platforms collectively called IntelliSelect®. Kymab’s platforms have been designed to maximize the diversity of human antibodies produced in response to immunization with antigens. Selecting from a broad diversity of fully human antibodies allows for the identification of antibodies with optimal drug-like properties.

We’re now looking for a Clinical Contracts and Finance Manager to manage contracts and budgets for Kymab sponsored clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To work with VP Clinical Operations and Senior Clinical Project Manager(s) to ensure appropriate contracts are in place and to manage clinical study budgets.  This will include
    • Review of vendor and clinical study site contracts for compliance with Kymab operational requirements, GCP, financial regulations and budget expectations.
    • Liaison with internal teams to obtain legal and IP review and input.
    • Negotiation with vendors to agree contracts and contract amendments.
    • Liaison with vendors to oversee execution of clinical site contracts and indemnity agreements.
    • Set up and ongoing management of systems to track accrual of clinical trial related costs
    • Working with Clinical Operations team, Finance and Project Management to provide clinical budget forecasts.
    • Building database of clinical budget metrics to improve future forecasting accuracy.
  • To maintain awareness of, and ensure compliance with, Kymab policies and procedures relating to quality standards within the Company



  • Degree level or equivalent education in a financial or healthcare discipline
  • Experience of contract/financial management of clinical trials of ethical pharmaceuticals
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of GCP and financial rules, regulations and guidelines governing clinical trials in the UK, EU & USA
  • Highly organised, able to prioritise work, work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Meticulous approach with good attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a flexible, collaborative style with colleagues and teams within the company and with external vendors.
  • Ability to see complex projects to completion.
