Matthew Project Careers
Our values are at the heart of our work, they shape the way we
support and care for our people. Our people are committed to making a
difference to others' lives through giving hope and providing professional,
creative and compassionate support. The Matthew Project's values and ethos
originate from a Christian perspective and we seek to employ people who respect
and align to our values, whether from a position of faith or of no faith.
The Matthew Project works with individuals of any age and also
communities affected by substance misuse. Our job roles work alongside
individuals and their families throughout their recovery from substance misuse,
providing one-to-one specialist psycho-social interventions, counselling,
coaching, education, information and advice to those who access our
services. We carry out our work in a wide variety of settings including GP
surgeries, schools, youth venues, mobile units, police stations, our own
premises and those of our partners. Our work centres in Norfolk although
it is expanding, and involves working in partnership with various statutory and
charitable agencies. Finance, fundraising, ICT, HR and
administrative functions provide the infrastructure that support our services.
Working at the Matthew Project you will enjoy opportunities for
training and development, a generous employment
package and access to supportive wellbeing initiatives.
The Matthew Project is an equal opportunities employer and we are
committed to treating people fairly and without discrimination, whether job
applicants, employees, volunteers or our service users. We welcome
people from all backgrounds, of any faith or none, and celebrate diversity
because we recognise that different backgrounds and perspectives create a rich
and dynamic work environment in which our people are happy and productive. We
believe in providing opportunities to ex-offenders where possible because
personal experience of recovery can prove a valuable motivation for working
with our service users.
Service user involvement is important to us and
if you are applying for a client facing role a service user or young people's
panel will be part of the recruitment process.
