Recovery Practitioner - Outside the Wire
Funding for 2 years
Are you ex-forces and looking for a challenging and rewarding role?

Are you passionate about recovery from substance misuse?

We have an exciting opportunity for a post working with serving Armed Forces personnel, Veterans, Reservists and their families who have issues with alcohol and drug misuse. You will work with individuals, undertaking referrals and assessments, managing a caseload, completing recovery care plans, and providing information, advice and needle exchange to substance users.

You will need to collect data, statistics and client case stories to support the future funding of the service, therefore you must be highly organised with good administrative skills.

The role will involve travel across Norfolk and Suffolk, therefore the ability to drive and access to a car is essential. Evening work may sometimes be necessary depending on the needs of the clients.

This could also be two part time roles, so we will also consider applications for people wanting to do 15 hours in either Norfolk or Suffolk. You will need to make it clear in your application what your preference would be.

This post is restricted to veterans of the Armed Forces. This is a 2 year contract but with the possibility of extension.

Interviews will take place on 21 July 2017 at our Veterens Hub in Norwich.

Closing Date:  12pm (noon) on 13 July 2017
