An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Employment Coordinator to support people into work who have had issues with substance misuse.

We have been awarded funding from the New Anglia LEP and European Social Fund to run a new programme enhancing the service offered from the new Next Steps Centre.

Working Recovery will be a structured, person-centred programme, designed to get those in recovery from addiction into employment, education, and/or training.  You will help to remove barriers, build soft skills, and provide non-accredited learning to participants. The programme will help to address local skills shortages, while making use of the wide range of rooms and spaces within the Next Steps recovery centre.

The post holder will development and co-ordinate the Working Recovery Programme including: planning, timetabling, recruiting trainers, and organising the materials needed; develop partnerships with employers that will have a significant impact on the success of Working Recovery; identify significant influencers that Working Recovery should engage with in order to fulfil its objectives; and work with employers, educators and trainers with a view to supporting the onward journey of participants.
