Senior Recovery Practitioner (Outside the Wire)
Suffolk
£21,911 to £23,716
37 hours
One year fixed term contract
Are you ex-forces and looking for a challenging and rewarding role?
Are you passionate about recovery from substance misuse?
We have an exciting opportunity for a Recovery Practitioner working with serving Armed Forces personnel, Veterans, Reservists and their families who have issues with alcohol and drug misuse. You will work with individuals, undertaking referrals and assessments, managing a caseload, completing recovery care plans, and providing information, advice and needle exchange to substance users.
You will need to collect data, statistics and client case stories to support the future funding of the service, therefore you must be highly organised with good administrative skills.
The role will involve travel across Suffolk, therefore the ability to drive and access to a car is essential. Evening work may sometimes be necessary depending on the needs of the clients.
This post is restricted to veterans of the Armed Forces. This is a 1 year contract but with the possibility of extension.
