Safeguarding – Access NI (criminal conviction checks)

When you're applying for a role to work with children, young people or vulnerable adults, MindWise will want to do all that we can to make sure that you are a suitable person to work with these groups. This means following robust recruitment and vetting procedures to minimise the risk of employing anyone who might pose a risk or is otherwise unsuited to work with these groups.

For all posts at MindWise successful candidates will need to need to undertake an Enhanced Access NI Check, then specific posts that work with Vulnerable Adults and/or Children will also need to undertake an Enhanced Access NI check with a barred list check.

You should not apply to work with these groups if you know that you are barred from working with children or vulnerable adults.
Any job offer will be subject to satisfactory completion of pre-employment checks and, and there will be a 6 month probationary period.
