Throughout this time we have established ourselves as a leader in security paper innovation, with the Portals name being synonymous with pioneering innovations in the security paper industry.

Our two UK sites have a combined capacity of 16,000 tonnes - producing more than 12 billion banknotes, 200 million brand labels, 70 million passports and 60 million certificates each year, for use in more than 100 countries around the world.

Today over 500 people work across our two sites. Every person at Portals, from our dedicated papermakers and engineers; to our sales team and scientists, plays a crucial role in helping secure the world’s security documents.
