Partnerships and Network Manager

We are looking for an exceptional individual to manage and develop strategic partnerships across health and social care systems and lead and manage the well-established South West London and Surrey Children’s Palliative Care Managed Clinical Network, and work in collaboration with other key statutory and voluntary sector stakeholders to establish the North West London CYP Palliative MCN.  The networks aim to address the significant variation in services and provide equal, integrated, and flexible palliative care for CYP and their families across the Shooting Star Children’s Hospices catchment area.

The post will report to the Director of Strategy and Partnerships and working closely with the Specialist Paediatric Palliative Care team for Surrey and SW London based at Christopher’s Hospice in Guildford. This role is perfect for those looking to further their career as part of a dynamic team, committed to investing in your personal development so that you have the skills and experience you need to continue to progress your career. You will quickly become an integral member of a small team working supportively to ensure Children and Young People with palliative care needs and their families are receiving the best possible co-ordinated services. Successful applicants will have a strong track record of delivering transformational projects, service redesign in a complex system, across health, local authority, the third sector and a background in commissioning or service provision in health or social care. You will need excellent communication, engagement skills, an adaptive, compassionate leadership style, digital literacy, and the commitment to co-production, building strong relationships and demonstrating the values of Shooting Star Children’s Hospices.

If you are interested in applying for this role, please contact Jo Cohen, Director of Strategy and Partnerships on 01483 230960 or jo.cohen@shootingstar.org.uk
