To be responsible for assisting the firm’s Client Accountants to help deliver an excellent client service with particular focus on the cash management, account reconciliations, invoice raising and assisting with month and quarter end reporting.

LOCATION       Swindon


  • Preparing client reports on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis to strict deadlines
  • Ensuring monthly/quarterly reporting checklists are completed
  • Raising ad-hoc charges and recharges
  • Preparing RICS letters for new bank accounts
  • Reviewing and resolving tenant account queries
  • Processing write offs
  • Completing general ledger reconciliations and investigating/resolving differences
  • Managing sinking funds and ensuring transfers are completed between accounts where required
  • Completing rent reconciliations and investigating/resolving differences
  • System maintenance including alias set ups and putting debtors on stop
  • Posting closing bank interest and quarterly bank interest
  • Assisting the Client Accountant with other ad hoc duties when required


  • Qualified or studying AAT
  • Previous experience working in a similar accountancy role
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • IT and software skills, particularly proficient Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work under pressure and to adhere to deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
